My bio by Everett

My name is Everett Harrington. I live in Dowagiac MI. I started collecting when I was just 8 or so. My Dad and I went to the local gravel pits in search of MI geodes. In 1988 my grandfather past away leaving me his rock collection along with a couple of tumblers and a 6" rock rascal trim saw. I started to become serious about 5 years ago. I have spent all of my vacation time in a few states collecting including: MI, IN, KY, NC, IL, IA, MO, CT, SD, and NY. My favorite collecting would be geodes. I have quite a collection of books as well on rocks and minerals. I also have helped write a book on geodes that will be out the spring of 2004. Looking forward to my next hunt!!!!
